Residential security focuses on the safety of homes, flats, and societies, where the main aim is to secure family members, personal belongings, and the daily living environment. This involves using basic and personal-level security solutions such as security guards, CCTV cameras, video door phones, entry-exit monitoring, and visitor management, all designed with the residents’ privacy and comfort in mind.

On the other hand, commercial security is for offices, factories, malls, hospitals, and business premises, where the level of security is more professional and stringent. This includes access control systems, bio-metric attendance, fire alarms, surveillance rooms, trained guards, and 24/7 monitoring, as the goal is to protect employees, customers, assets, and confidential data. In simple terms, residential security is for personal safety, while commercial security is for the protection of businesses and large-scale operations.
